User Type Security

Administrators have the ability to create or edit user types and what permissions each user type will have. Three different user types are provided by default. AD (administrator) has access to all enabled functions. CS (customer service) can view all accounts. UR (user) can view only their own accounts.

The permissions can be accessed by selecting User Types & Security on the Home page. Then click the edit icon next to the User Type. Next click the Security button to assign the permission described in the table below.

Add New User User will get an error message when trying to "Add User" User can see the "Add a New User" screen but not save any changes.
Edit Users User will not be able to use the "Manage Users" link There is no "save" button on the User Management screen

Manage Users "Manage Users" button will not appear on the Admin Home page User cannot submit to or query database
Payment Receipts User can view list of payments but not details (trans code, fullname, date paid, address) User cannot submit to or query database
Payments & History "Payments & Payment History" button will not appear on the Dashboard User cannot submit to or query database
Process Payments *Administrator will get an error when they click "Pay Now" button There is no "Save" button on the "Make a Payment" screen
Search Records "Search Records" button is missing from the Admin Home page There is no "Search" button on the search page
Set User Access ** User will get an error message when clicking the "User Access" button There is no "Save" button on the "Admin User Access Managment"screen
Upload Files "Uploads" button is missing from the Admin Home page There is no "Upload" button on the "Upload Files" screen
User Type Maintenance "User Types & Security" button is missing from the Admin Home page There is no "Save" button on the "User Type Maintenance" screen
View & Print Reports "View & Print Reports" button is missing from the Admin Home page User cannot submit to or query database
View Dashboard "Dashboard" button is missing from the Admin Home page User cannot submit to or query database
View Document List User can view job lists on Dashboard but can't drill down to document level User cannot submit to or query database
View HTML Emails Not applicable User cannot submit to or query database
View SMS messages Not applicable User cannot submit to or query database
View Statements User cannot view any printed documents User cannot submit to or query database
Web Proofing "Web Proofing" button is missing from the Admin Home page User cannot submit to or query database

* "Pay on the web" must be checked on the Administrators User Management screen
** This has to do with access to hierarchy levels
