Mail Type Definitions

During the approval process you may see a "Mail Type" column in the document listing. This setting may have specific meaning in some cases.

 

  • blank - The document will be presorted if required. The document will be viewable on the web portal. The document will be printed and mailed at the presorted rate.

 

  • NoMail - The document will not be presorted. The document will be viewable on the web portal.It may be printed and/or mailed at the standard first class rate upon request. This may be set automatically if the end user has selected to recieve email notifications only in their web portal profile.

 

  • Omit - The document will not be presorted. The document will be viewable on the web portal by default unless it is configured to be hidden. The document will not be emailed to the end user by default unless configured to do so. It may be printed and/or mailed at the standard first class rate upon request.

 

  • Exclude - Statementout may reserve this setting for a specific use. Depending upon your type of documents we may automatically set this to indicate docoement over 5 sheets of paper that cannot be inserted into a letter size envelope. The documents will be excluded from presorting and will be mailed at the flat rate.
